Combiner the turmeric, cumin, smoked paprika and coriander together. Set aside.

In a large saucepan, heat up some oil. Cook the garlic, ginger and onion until the onion is tender and browned.

Add in the seasoning mix (from the previous step) and potato. Simmer for 15 more minutes or until the potato is perfectly cooked.

Mix the rice flour with about ⅓ cup of curry broth. Mix well until a paste forms, then add to the curry. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the curry thickens slightly.
