This ground pork pasta is a quick and satisfying dinner option perfect for busy weeknights. It has savory ground pork, fragrant garlic, cooked down with Chinese leeks and tamari soy sauce.
Heat up 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large pan. Cook the garlic until fragrant.
Add the ground pork and salt. Cook fully.
Add the leek and tamari soy sauce. Cook until the leek softens.
Cook the pasta according to the package, in salted water. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water and drain well using a strainer.
Add the cooked pasta to the pork mix. Add the ½ cup pasta water and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Toss gently with tongs.
Serve on plates. Top with ground pepper and fresh lime slices.
Notes
Substituting leeks: Chinese leeks are thinner and milder than regular leeks. If you substitute with regular leeks, cook them for a slightly longer time.
