Hi I'm Natsuko. A food nerd that just loves to be in the kitchen.
I was born and raised in Yokohama Japan, spent a few years in Hong Kong before moving to New York City with my husband, then decided to settle in this sunny Colorado.
After having my first child 5 years ago, my body changed and I became sensitive to gluten and dairy. Devastated for a while, I decided to stick to my new diet for 3 months and guess what - bloating, swelling, brain fog went away almost immediately and my skin cleared up significantly as well (from hormonal acne mainly).
Although I do indulge ice cream and pizzas on special occasions now, the recipes you'll see here are all gluten and dairy free. You will also see many Asian fusion dishes that are approachable, and easy to make as I get my cooking inspiration from my Asian roots.
This is my creative outlet and all I would like to do here is to inspire others to know that cooking something delicious (and healthier) is really not that hard. So have fun trying out the recipes, and simply enjoy!!
