Ingredients
 
 

  • 5 cups vegetable broth
  • ¼ pound ground pork
  • 6 leaves napa cabbage
  • 1 large carrot peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons tamari soy sauce or more

Toppings (optional)

  • Thinly sliced scallions
  • Toasted white sesame

Instructions
 

  • Place the vegetable broth in a large saucepan and bring it to a boil.
  • Add the ground pork to the broth. Break up the meat with your hands into tiny pieces as you add into the broth. Let it cook for 30 seconds or until the meat floats to the surface.
  • Add in the napa cabbage and carrots. Lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until the carrots are tender.
  • Mix in tamari soy sauce.
  • Serve with scallions and sesame.

Notes

Make sure your ground pork is not salted (like sausage pork).
